Privacy Policy

ERROA TECHNOLOGY PRIVATE LIMITED (“Company”, “we”, “us”, “our”) operates the mobile application Call Status. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, disclose, and protect information when you use our app, website, and related services.

Information we collect

• Account information: name, mobile number, email, profile picture, username, account type, and authentication details.
• Contacts & phonebook: contact names and numbers for matching, calling, chat, invite, and friend features.
• Call logs & dialer data: call history, duration, status, and related dialer information where permitted.
• Call status data: on-call / on-app status, visibility settings, captions, media statuses, and viewer metadata.
• Chat, media, device & safety data: messages, uploads, diagnostics, analytics, reports, and blocked numbers as needed to operate and secure the service.
• Subscription data: plan and billing metadata. Card/UPI details are handled by payment providers.

How we use information

• Create and manage accounts
• Provide calling, call status, chat, contact, and profile features
• Process media statuses and subscriptions
• Send service notifications and detect abuse or fraud
• Improve reliability and comply with legal obligations

Third-party services

We may use trusted providers for hosting, CDN/media processing, Firebase / Google services, advertising partners, app stores, payment processors, and OTP/email providers. We do not sell your personal information.

Security & retention

We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards, including access controls and encryption where applicable. Account data is retained while your account is active. Deleted content may remain in backups for a limited period.

Account deletion

In-app: Profile → Edit Profile → Delete Account. You may also email Support@callstatus.in with subject “Account Deletion Request - Call Status”. Valid requests are processed within 7 business days; full purge from backups may take up to 90 days.

Google Account & contacts

If you connect Google, we may use read-only Google Contacts access to fetch contact photos for caller identification. We do not sell Google user data or use it for advertising. Disconnect anytime in-app or via Google Account permissions.

Children’s privacy

Call Status is not intended for children below the age required by applicable law. We may delete data collected from a child without appropriate consent.
